Recipe for Dirt Cake

Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

20 Oreos (or more)
1 3.9 ounce box of instant pudding
2 cups of milk
1 8 ounce container of Cool Whip
Gummy worms (however many you want to put in)

Utensils:

Medium bowl
Mesuring cup for 1 cup
Whisk
Large resealable plastic bag
Utensil for crushing Oreos (optional)
Spatula (or some other mixing tool)
9 in x 9 in baking dish

1. Prepare the instant pudding by adding the milk and the pudding powder into a medium mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed then set aside to allow it to thicken.

2. While the pudding is thickening, place your Oreos into a large resealable plastic bag. Using your hands or a large utensil, crush the Oreos until you have a vairety of different sized small chunks.

3. Back to the pudding. Take your Cool Whip and add it to the pudding, then fold it all together with a spatula until well combined.

4. Grab a 9 inch by 9 inch baking dish. Add a layer of Oreo to the dish, then place and level a layer of pudding over it. Add a second layer of Oreo, then place and level a second layer of pudding. Sprinkle the last of the Oreos on top of the pudding.

5. Take your gummy worms and place as many as you want on top of the dirt cake. Chill until ready to serve.
