Leo was never good enough for his father, Pierre, and brushed off as nothing important. His father, Toby, used him to breakdown in front of and rely on Leo to put the pieces back together. The moment he graduated highschool, he ran away from home and to the city where he found the woman who used to take care of him before he was adopted. He was taken in and along with his found-family sisters, Ruby and Comet, performed drag as and worked at the drag bar Madame Jinx owned as Ivory Diamond. One night, while in an intimate moment with a man from the club, Leo is bitten and transformed into a vampire. He struggles with it at first but finds it's easy to hide when he finds a whole underground market for vampires and alike, which is where he can buy blood to drink. He went to med school to become an nurse and began to work in the ER. After rekindling with his former boyfriend from high school, Austin, they started dating and eventually got married. After a few years they decided to start fostering older kids and soon fostered, then adopted, Bentley, Colie, Mason, and Lloyd.
